This week focuses on drafting marriage and divorce petitions. Explore the essential components of marriage petitions and different types of divorce petitions (contested vs. mutual consent). The sessions will include analysing sample drafts, drafting tasks, role plays, and peer reviews to provide practical experience. - Week 3: Drafting Custody and Maintenance Applications
In the third week, participants will delve into drafting child custody and maintenance applications. Key considerations influencing custody decisions and the understanding of maintenance laws will be discussed. Practical drafting tasks, case study analysis, and peer feedback will help reinforce the learning. - Week 4: Final Project and Review
The final week will consolidate the knowledge gained throughout the course.
